MTV Roadies Xtreme Episode 8: A contestant irks everyone as things get intense in the 'Culling round'

The latest episode of MTV Roadies Xtreme started with the culling round. The first batch of contestants, who were brought in to try their luck to secure a spot in the final list of 20 contestants, was Kashish from Delhi, Yashpreet Sindhu, the jolly Pavneet Singh Bagga, and Rohan.

For the uninitiated, three contestants, namely - Shruti Sinha from Pune, Priya Sindhu and Vidit Sharma, have already been finalized to go on the Roadies journey by the gang leaders in the auditions' round. In the culling round, the remaining lot will be judged on various parameters and only 17 would be finalized to continue in their Roadies journey.

As the first batch of contestants arrived for the culling round, Pavneet Singh Bagga had everyone in side-splits with his push-ups. Rannvijay then asked him to pick out one contestant, whom he likes the most. Pavneet chose Kashish. The latter then impressed everyone by doing a commendable headstand. Rannvijay then selected him to be part of the final line up. Rohan and Pavneet were selected next and Yash was sent back.

The gang of girls, comprising of Mini Rohela from Pune, Richa Sharma and Rashmeet from Delhi and Farah Fatima Khan from Pune, was the next batch to be grilled in the culling round. Farah showed some impressive moves and that won her spot on the list of the finalists. Rannvijay had a one on one with Rashmi who had had a troubled past. Mini Rohela was the next one to get selected for the final race.

The next group of contestants, which was put through the test, comprised of Calisthenics expert- Nishkarsh Arora, Sandy Saha, and Syed Khurshid. Nishkarsh floored everyone with his dance moves. Sandy was selected for his unique appeal. Rannvijay then asked the already selected contestants to vote for one of the two aspirants - Nishkarsh and Syed and 9 of them voted for the former. Much to everyone's surprise, Rannvijay selected Syed and asked him to prove them wrong by being part of the journey.

Syed started on the wrong foot by making a statement that irked everyone and this led to an argument. It didn't stop there as this was followed by a heated exchange of words between Syed and Nishkarsh. Rannvijay tricked the latter by sending him back and just when he was taking a leave, he was called back to join the finalists.

Sonu Jatt, Mehekdeep, and Sharan were the next three to try their luck in the culling round. Sharan wowed everyone by his impressive Capoeira act. Sonu and Mehekdeep hand-wrestled and the latter won that round. Next, Sharan beat Mahekdeep in a hand-wrestling match. Sonu was selected to join the finalists and the other two were sent back.

Gurleen Kaur from Delhi, Geetika Sood from Chandigarh, Preeti Kunthal and Sameeksha Malik were the next set of contestants to go through the test. Preeti, Geetika and Sameeksha were selected.

From the last three groups of contestants, Surbhi, Kriti, Bibek Vohra, Shubhda and Abhishek Dubey were selected and RJ Anamika, Shivani Ajeet Kamli, Harshvardhan, Dolly Sharma and Preeti Ghotia were sent back.

Rannvijay concluded the round by announcing that Roadies journey will begin in Shillong.
